Charlotte Godber explained how it felt as a neonatal nurse on shift: “It was so overwhelming seeing the all the emergency services outside King’s Mill Emergency Department supporting myself and my colleagues. Then to arrive home and most of my neighbours were outside waiting for me to return back from work – it brought tears to my eyes.

“We’re in this together.”
