"Winning these awards means a lot because everyone has worked so hard over the last year.

“We've always focused on doing the right thing for our patients, trying new ideas and creating support and resources that actually make a difference.

"To see that recognised is brilliant, and it's a real credit to everyone involved.”

The mental health occupational therapy service provides specialist assessment and intervention within primary care for patients presenting with a range of mental health difficulties.

It focuses on supporting individuals with meaningful daily activities, effective coping strategies, and maintaining independence.

It also runs a mental health skills group to support patients with common mental health difficulties through group-based interventions.

The group receives consistently positive feedback from patients.

Another group is the ADHD and Autism psychoeducation and screening service, which offers structured group-based support for patients who are looking for a better understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions and guidance on referral pathways.

Between 2025 and 2026, a total of 555 patients were supported through the screening groups.
