Coronavius case confirmed in North East Derbyshire

A case of coronavirus has officially been confirmed in the North East Derbyshire/ Bolsover region.

The case is the fifth in Derbyshire, with two cases confirmed in the High Peak and one in Erewash.

Public Health England do not disclose the exact area where the case is, but say close contacts will be given advice about symptoms and emergency contact details to use if they become unwell in the 14 days after contact with the confirmed cases.

If you have not been been contacted by Public Health England, the say you do not need to take any action at this time.
