The worst hit Mansfield areas for coronavirus this week – including one with 20 new cases

An area of Mansfield that appears to be worst-hit by coronavirus, had 20 new virus cases in the last week according to Public Health England, as region enters ‘high’ level lockdown.

Nottinghamshire is to be placed under the ‘high’ level lockdown restrictions, which come into effect on Wednesday, which prevents households from mixing with each other indoors.

One area of Mansfield had 20 new positive Covid-19 cases in the last week, Public Health England data from October 2 to October 8 confirmed.

The results are based on testing in hospitals and the wider community, as part of the government’s coronavirus testing programme, that were recorded by October 10.
