Two further Covid-19 deaths recorded in Nottinghamshire as 651 more die in England

NHS England figures out today, April 14, reveal a total of 66 patients have died at Sherwood Forest Hospitals Trust- an increase of two.

The deaths, of patients who were being treated for the virus across King's Mill, Newark and Mansfield Community Hospitals, were registered between Sunday, April 12 and Tuesday, April 14

A further 651 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 11,656.

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust confirmed that 117 patients across its two sites have died following positive Covid-19 tests an increase of four.

However, the numbers could be far higher as they do not include those who have died in the community, care homes, hospices, at home and in other communal establishments. So far, only the number of deaths in hospital has been published.
