Three more die at Mansfield and Ashfield hospitals after testing positive for Covid-19

There have been three more patient deaths from Covid-19 at Sherwood Forest Hospitals Trust, in the most recent recording period.

Hospitals in and around Mansfield recorded no further deaths of patients who had test positive for coronavirus according to the latest daily statistics out this afternoon (February 21).

A total of 529 patients have died from the virus while being cared for by Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which runs King’s Mill Hospital in Sutton, Mansfield Community Hospital and Newark Hospital, since the pandemic first hit.

Nationally, a further 178 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals to 81,482.

Patients were aged between 25 and 101 years old. All except 7 (aged 47 to 97 years old) had known underlying health conditions.
