Data produced by the government health body, based on the frequency of lab confirmed positive cases of coronavirus reported by September 18, reveals the locations in the town that has the most new coronavirus cases.
The figures taken from September 10 and September 16 shows that Newgate and Carr Bank and Oak Tree and Ransom Wood ward had the joint highest number of new people contracting the virus with both places documenting three positive cases during this time period.

Hide AdWhile Newgate and Carr Bank and Oak Tree and Ransom Wood ward both had three more people contracting the virus in the last seven recorded days, all other areas in Mansfield town centre had up to two positive cases.
Sutton also appeared to be at low risk of a local lockdown with Public Health England data showing that all areas in the town had a maximum of just two cases.
Rainworth and Blidworth which is on the outskirts of Mansfield, had five people contracting the virus between September 10 and September 16.
Edwinstowe and Clipstone which is near the town, also recorded three new positive cases in the same period.

There were also four new Covid-19 cases in Shirebrook North.
