Teachers at a Mansfield School dance in video to cheer up pupils during lockdown
Teachers at Peafield Lane academy sent a video out to all their pupils to help ensure one thing in their lives was normal this week
They may not be able to get to class - but these teachers still want to put a smile on their pupils' faces.
A school spokeswoman said: “It’s unprecedented times for children and staff and some of our children are finding it quite difficult being away from school.
“We have various things where we are keeping in touch with them for their work and messages but we it’s sometimes nice for them just to see our faces and to do something fun.”
So all of the staff did a little bit of the dance to Dance Monkey by Tones and I and Head teacher Gary Walker put it together.
She added: “It was a message from us to the children hoping that they are keeping safe and that we miss them.”
