No more coronavirus-related deaths have been confirmed within the last 24 hours at hospitals in Mansfield and Ashfield, the NHS has announced, leaving the death toll at 124.

Across the UK, another 22 COVID-19 hospital deaths were confirmed today, taking the total to 33,465.

The latest figures from NHS England are for confirmed deaths at hospitals in the 24 hours up to 5pm on July 4.

Across all settings, 44,220 people are known to have died in the UK after testing positive for COVID-19.
