No further Covid-19 death reported at Sherwood Forest Hospitals today as 179 die in England hospitals
There have been a total of 119 recorded deaths at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Trust, which runs King’s Mill Hospital in Sutton, Mansfield Community Hospital and Newark Hospital with a total of 1323 cases in Nottinghamshire.

NHS England has announced 179 new deaths of people who tested positive for Covid-19, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 27,044. This is the highest daily increase since May 21.Of the 179 new deaths announced on Wednesday:- 20 occurred on June 2- 47 occurred on June 1- 18 occurred on May 31The figures also show 66 of the new deaths took place between May 2 and May 30, 24 occurred in April, and the remaining four deaths took place in March, with the earliest on March 24.
Patients were aged between 12 and 97 years old. Four of the 179 patients had no known underlying health condition.
