New coronavirus death at Sherwood Forest Hospitals

One more person has lost their life to Covid-19 at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Trust, which operates King’s Mill Hospital and Mansfield Community Hospital.

The latest figures from NHS England reveal that there has been a new coronavirus death at Sherwood Forest Hospitals in the last 24 hour reporting period.

Up until yesterday, the Trust had not recorded a new Covid-19 fatality for the last week.

But today’s statistics which show the number of coronavirus related deaths between June 11 and June 12, have increased the total number of virus fatalities at the Trust to 122.

Across England, 67 more people who contracted the disease have now died.

This brings the total number of confirmed reported coronavirus deaths in hospitals across the country up to, 27,926.

Out of the people who died from the virus, two were aged between 20 and 39 years old and 44 people were over 80.
