Most recent NHS figures show no new Covid-19 fatalities in Mansfield

The latest statistics from NHS England this afternoon (Thursday, July 16) confirm there have been no additional deaths coronavirus related deaths in hospitals within The Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The Covid-19 death toll at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – which operates Mansfield Community Hospital, King’s Mill Hospital and Newark Hospital – has remained static, NHS England have said.

There have been no new coronavirus related deaths in the Trust’s hospitals in the last 24 hour reporting period.

Since the pandemic started, a total of 124 people have died after testing positive for the disease and while being treated by hospitals within Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

In England, a further 19 patients are confirmed to have died from Covid-19, which brings the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England up to 29,144.People who died were aged between 52 and 91 years old and all had known underlying health conditions.
