More than 2,000 people test positive for coronavirus in Nottinghamshire

More than 2,000 people have now tested positive for Covid-19 in Nottinghamshire.

According to the latest statistics from the Government, there are 2,006 confirmed cases of the virus in Nottinghamshire – 1,402 in Nottinghamshire county and 604 in Nottingham city.

Coronavirus has claimed the lives of 118 people at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The total number of people who have died with Covid-19 in UK hospitals, care homes and the wider community is currently 38,161.
