Mansfield Town staff deliver cases of drinks to front-line NHS hospital staff

Stadium director Paul Broughton and operations executive Tina Broughton delivered over 20 cases of cold drinks to the Sutton hospital on Monday, March 30.

Tina said: "Our supporters' liaison officer, Danielle Hett, was notified of an online appeal to donate cold drinks to respiratory nurses at King's Mill."These are for the nurses' break area. We were informed that, during 13-hour shifts, the nurses are provided sandwiches but require cold drinks."Paul and I drove to One Call Stadium to gather every usable cold drink in stock and delivered them to King's Mill. It's the least we can do as the Town's professional football club.

"Everyone who works in the NHS and emergency services deserve our utmost gratitude, appreciation and support. Their selflessness is incredible at this time of national emergency."Even though it is a challenging time for everyone, it is encouraging to see many people's qualities shine through within our community and country.
