Mansfield Council to re-start brown bin collections next week
The service was temporarily suspended while the council focused on maintaining vital household waste and recycling collections.
To enable crews to empty your brown garden waste bin, please ensure your bin is out by 6am on your usual collection day, loosen any compacted waste to stop it getting stuck inside, do not overfill your bin and do not contaminate your brown bin with food, recycling or domestic household item

Crews will not be able to return for missed bins, for which the council apologises.
Sarah Troman, head of neighbourhood services at the council, said: “During lockdown our refuse crews have been working hard to prioritise vital household waste and recycling collections.
"They have been overwhelmed by support from the public who really appreciate the continuation of these critical collections at this difficult time.

"If, for any reason, the situation changes, we will not hesitate to make appropriate changes to our waste services.”
You can sign up and pay for the service or order additional brown bins here.
In-cab technology tells crews which bins have been paid for so there is no need for bin stickers.
Please make sure your house number is clearly on your bin.
