Latest NHS England statistics show no new coronavirus fatalities at Sherwood Forest Hospitals

No more people have died from Covid-19 at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Trust, which runs King’s Mill Hospital and Mansfield Community Hospital, in the last 24 hour reporting period.

In total, 122 people have died after testing positive for coronavirus at the Trust since the pandemic first hit.

Yesterday, the Trust confirmed that one more person had lost their life to the virus at their hospitals between June 11 and June 12.

But before that, the Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Trust had reported no new coronavirus deaths for a week straight.

In England, a further 27 people are reported to have died from Covid-19 while in hospital according to the most recent figures from NHS England.

This brings the number of people who have died from coronavirus in hospitals across England up to 27,953.
