Four more patients died from Covid-19 at Mansfield hospitals

An additional four patients are confirmed to have died from Covid-19 while being treated in Mansfield hospitals, according to the latest NHS England figures.

The new data which documents the deaths reported by Sherwood Forest NHS Foundation Trust from 4pm on November 18 to 4pm on November 19, shows the total number of fatalities has increased to 187 since the pandemic first hit.

Sherwood Forest Trust runs Mansfield Community Hospital, King’s Mill Hospital in Sutton and Newark Hospital.

Across England, a further 326 people who tested positive for Covid-19 have died in hospital, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in England’s hospitals up to 37,796.

Patients who passed away were aged between 29 and 100 years old and all but six people were known to have suffered from underlying health conditions.

The fatalities occurred between September 11 to November 19 of this year and their families have been informed.
