Coronavirus LIVE: latest news on the disease as third person dies in Sheffield
The UK coronavirus death toll has jumped to 281 in just 24 hours including one at a Sheffield Hospital.
As of March 22, there are 82 positive cases of coronavirus in Sheffield. In Doncaster there are seven.
Derbyshire has 75 cases and there are 60 confirmed in Nottinghamshire.
The number of cases in the UK stands at 5,683.
Police have vowed to check that pubs and cafes are following the government’s instruction to close down in a bid to limit the spread of COVID-19.
