Pizza-making teaches Mansfield youngsters about healthy eating and tool safety

Young children at Cherubs Mansfield Woodhouse, based at School House, on School Lane, decided that they would like to make pizzas.

Amy Bennett, nursery co-ordinator, said: “The children talked about the ingredients they were using and categorised them into different food groups and used hand-eye coordination when using the knives to spread the tomato puree.

“This also taught the children about safety of using different tools.”
