Mansfield school teaching assistant sends heartwarming message to kids

A member of staff at a Mansfield primary school has made a video to remind pupils that their teachers are thinking of them.

Sarah Hrycaj , a teaching assistant at Crescent Primary School, said she made the video message, featuring the faces of staff as they hold signs spelling out a message, to “share a little positivity through our community.”

“I wanted to let them know that we haven't forgotten about them,” she told the Chad.

“We are very close as a staff, and have always enjoyed a close relationship with our children and parents.

“I wanted to continue that as it’s important for the children and their families to know we are thinking of them, and despite the lockdown we are, and always will be, there for them.”

When the message was posted to Facebook last night it immediately sparked a warm response.

One parent wrote: “It put a smile on my two monkeys’ faces!”
