Mansfield school hopeful that half term break will help with 'several' coronavirus cases

King Edward Primary School on St Andrew Street in Mansfield have confirmed ‘several’ cases.
In letters to parents, the cases were confirmed in both year three and year six bubbles, with both sets of children required to isolate for 14 days.

Hide AdAs the majority of the isolation periods coincide with the school’s half term, the timing means the children will not miss any further schooling.
A spokesperson said: “The school is working closely with Public Health England following several positive cases within our year three bubble.
"Subsequently a year six child who is a sibling to a child in year three has also tested positive.
"The staff and children of both year groups will have to isolate in line with government guidance.
