Children sang a medley of Christmas carols and spent time meeting the residents afterwards and shared Christmas gifts.
Marie Wingrove, class teacher, said: “The children were a credit to us, polite, well-mannered, respectful and just so enthusiastic!
I don’t know who enjoyed it most, the residents or the children.
"One child commented that the best part was seeing the ladies faces and having their photos taken with them”
Rugma Mohan, home manager, added: : “We all loved them it was a fantastic experience for us, some of us got a bit emotional as well seeing them singing.
"Thank you so very much for this lovely Christmas treat and for the gifts.
"It was truly a heart-warming experience for everyone involved and a wonderful example of how the children of Brinsley show kindness, compassion, and care for others within their community.”
