S.H.E. UK celebrates fundraising success and award wins from Jess Gill at Ms Voluptuous International

S.H.E. UK is proud to celebrate the achievements of Jess Gill, who recently represented the United Kingdom in the Ms Voluptuous International pageant while raising funds to support survivors of childhood abuse and trauma.
As part of her pageant journey, Jess raised £500 for S.H.E. UK. Through the Big Give match-funding campaign, this amount was doubled, strengthening the charity’s ability to deliver vital therapeutic services to those affected by childhood trauma.
At the pageant, Jess received multiple accolades, including the prestigious title of Women of the World’s Ambassador, awarded for raising the highest amount for charity among all international contestants. Jess also received the Advocacy Award for her impactful speech about her personal journey through trauma and the values she continues to champion. She went on to achieve second runner-up overall, amongst several additional honours.
A former trainee counsellor with S.H.E. UK, Jess has maintained a strong connection to the charity. Speaking after the event, she said: “Thank you for working with me. The pageant was incredible… I won ‘Women of the World’s Ambassador’ for the most money raised for charity, and the ‘Advocacy Award’ for my speech. Thank you again - I’m so grateful.”

S.H.E. UK CEO Lisa Lenton said: “We are incredibly proud of Jess. Her achievements reflect courage, empowerment, and a commitment to helping others — values that underpin the work we do every day. We are grateful for her support and for everyone who contributed through the Big Give.”
S.H.E. UK continues to provide specialist therapeutic services to adults affected by childhood sexual abuse and trauma across Nottinghamshire and beyond.
