The new class combines guided movement, controlled breathing and mindful focus, supporting both physical and mental health. Designed to be accessible to a wide range of abilities, LES MILLS YOGA places emphasis on recovery and restoration while also building strength, mobility and stability. Sessions encourage participants to slow down, reconnect with their breath and improve clarity and concentration, complementing more high-intensity training.
The addition aligns with Bannatyne’s wider wellbeing ethos, recognising the importance of recovery, stress management and mental resilience alongside cardiovascular and strength training. By offering a structured, instructor-led yoga experience, the club aims to support members in developing sustainable routines that benefit everyday life as well as physical performance.

Andrew Wallace, fitness advisor at the Bannatyne Group, said: “It’s important to offer this to members because it’s all about that member experience and offering something new that they have never experienced before. It’s a brand new release from Les Mills and we’re one of the first places to deliver the class.”
Sarah Gibbons, fitness advisor at the Bannatyne Group, added: “It is very beneficial for members because there is a lot of emphasis these days on mental health. People are so stressed and running around right, left and centre they’re not even thinking about what they’re doing any more and taking a few minutes to just lie down and relax gives you a chance to clear out that busy mind. People feel so much better after a class and you can see a difference in them.”
Duncan Bannatyne, chairman and chief executive of The Bannatyne Group, said: “Holistic wellbeing is about far more than physical fitness alone. Practices such as yoga help people build strength and mobility while also supporting recovery, focus and mental clarity. Introducing LES MILLS YOGA at our Mansfield club is about giving our members the opportunity to look after both body and mind in a structured, supportive environment.”
