A Mansfield health club is urging members to keep up their fitness momentum this January by taking part in a new challenge aimed at supporting consistency and motivation.

Hosted at the Briar Lane club, the Make Your MOVE’s challenge runs from 19 to 30 January and brings together Bannatyne locations from across the country.

Participants earn Technogym MOVE’s through cardio workouts completed in club, with MOVE’s calculated based on effort and intensity rather than age, gender or experience.

Members log into equipment during each session, with every MOVE contributing to their club’s total score. The winning club will receive a new trophy and be named the group’s first challenge champions of 2026.

Clare Mackie, Fitness Coordinator at the Bannatyne Group, said the challenge was particularly relevant as January continues.

“By this stage, people have often settled into routines, but motivation can dip,” she said. “This challenge gives members a reason to keep showing up and recognise the progress they’re making.”

Open to both members and staff, participants can join at any point, with MOVE’s counting from the day they sign up.
