Ho Ho Ho! Santa’s Sleigh arrives in Sutton in Ashfield
The sound of Santa's sleigh bells will be heard around Sutton from Friday 28th November as Sutton in Ashfield Rotary Club announce the arrival of its Christmas sleigh.
One of the most-loved highlights and traditions will be returning this Christmas when Santa’s Sleigh makes his annual tour through the streets of Sutton in Ashfield and the District.
With Father Christmas on board and festive music playing, both children and adults eagerly await with excitement to hear the music in the distance building as the sleigh approaches.
You’ll catch Santa around the district’s local streets up until the 19th of December and will see special appearances at B&Q/Aldi Gateway and Asda on Priestsic Road.
Santa and his sleigh will be at B&Q/Aldi Gateway on Saturday 13th December, between 10am to 2pm.
The Asda on Priestsic Road dates is Wednesday 17th, Thursday 18th, Friday 19th, Saturday 20th, Monday 22nd, Tuesday 23rd December. All from 11am to 5pm.
Rotary Club President Geoff Snare added "we are looking forward to bringing Santa and his sleigh to our community once again this year. Our traditional evening routes throughout the Sutton area and our daytime presence at local retail locations will give lots of children (and adults) the chance to experience the joy of Santa. Last year over £6,000 was put back into the local community from our Santa sleigh collections and we are hoping to exceed that figure this year."
