Mansfield District Council is delighted to support this year’s Chad Business Awards again and to headline the Mayor’s Apprentice of the Year Award. Young people are vital to our ever-changing workplace and these awards throw a spotlight on the contribution that the next generation of talented entrepreneurs will bring to the economy.
The awards also allow local businesses to showcase their work and we are encouraging both well-established and new businesses to enter.
We encourage local businesses to nominate their company or their outstanding entrepreneur for an award. This is their opportunity to shine and to show their pride in the excellence and success they strive to achieve.
It is a great way to enhance your company profile and motivate employees, as well as showcasing your achievements and reputation.
There are financial benefits, too. Companies which have won a Chad Business Award in the past have subsequently enjoyed around a 38 per cent growth in sales.
The awards are happening at a time when the council has lots of exciting plans coming together for the district:
We know thousands of jobs are dependent on the success of our high street retail and service sector employers so we’re committed to investing in its regeneration.
This district has so much to shout about and be proud of. As well as being among the top 10 locations in which to start up and grow a businesses, it is also been a successful place for large established companies such as Glenair UK, Linney and KAEFER Group.
The council’s is committed to supporting the local businesses through start-up and growth grants, free advice sessions and skills training. Find out more at https://invest.ashfield-mansfield.com or by calling 01623 463499.
Ashfield District Council are once again proud to be supporting this year’s Chad business awards. The awards allow local businesses to showcase their work and we are encouraging both well established and new businesses to enter.
The Council is committed to investing and supporting the enhancement of the district, offering support to both new and existing businesses.
We have recently announced the investment on Summit Park that will bring 1800 new jobs to the area. Along with this we have seen investment from national retailers including Wetherspoon’s and Angling Direct as well as local businesses including Romo and the Really Good Group Ltd who are both expanding into new premises.
Ashfield is also renowned for its independent retailers. Forest Road, Annesley has recently been nominated for the Rising Star award at the upcoming British High Street awards.
Due to the small group of niche retailers reinvigorating a community into something that not only serves the local area, but delivers a quality product and service to a national, and even, international consumer base.
We encourage all businesses throughout Ashfield to enter this year’s awards
