Virgin Media has continued to expand its network during the global Covid-19 pandemic to help bring ultrafast connectivity to more homes and businesses.

It has also been able to connect new customers after implementing a range of measures to keep customers and staff safe, including supporting customers to install their own services and practicing social distancing.

The broadband boost for Warsop residents now means that internet in the area is nine times faster than the local average.

Warsop will benefit from fibre to the premises (FTTP) technology which allows for smooth, reliable connectivity in the home.

With a 516Mbps connection, files, films and games become very quick to stream, download and upload.

Hugh Woolford, regional director for East Midlands at Virgin Media, said: “Homes and businesses in Warsop can now access our ultrafast broadband services.

"This digital boost for 4,000 additional premises will make it easier for residents to work, stream, shop, learn and much more, all online.”
