A local educational recruitment business, launched in Mansfield in 2023, has reached a successful milestone after securing public sector supplier accreditation.

Staff for Education, is now a named supplier on Government Commercial Agency’s Supply Teachers and Education Recruitment framework RM6376.

Staff for Education’s managing director Louise Hamby said her team was delighted with the announcement.

She said: “I am incredibly proud of everything we have achieved over the past three years.

"Every morning, I count my blessings and feel grateful to work alongside such a wonderful, hardworking, and dedicated team.

"The company’s success is a testament to their commitment to quality, and their passion and belief in what we are building together.”

Louise says that to achieve the accreditation, her company underwent a rigorous vetting process, ensuring it met all industry standards.

She continued: “Our accreditation reinforces our position as a trusted supplier, and one capable of meeting the rigorous standards required for public sector delivery.

"We would like to thank Neuven Consult for their expert guidance and support throughout the bid process. It has been a pleasure working with the team to achieve this outcome.”

The news for the local firm comes as the Government announced that from September 2026, it is mandatory for single and multi-academy trusts to procure their supply staff through the GCA network.

Based at Mansfield’s i-Centre on Hamilton Way, Staff for Education was launched using financial backing from The Recruit Venture Group.

Three years on the business now has a team united by a shared vision for its future, which Louise believes will continue to guide the company’s success and development.

She said: “Three years ago, I started this company from my dining room table with a clear vision and a determination to make a positive difference.

"Thanks to the dedication and hard work of my incredible team, and support from my backers, I am immensely proud of how far we have come whilst remaining true to our core purpose of supporting and serving our education communities.

“We are passionate about adding value to the lives of everyone we work with and helping schools to thrive.

"As we enter this exciting new phase of our journey, we look forward to building on our strengths and continuing to deliver quality support to schools across the region.”
