Pizza Hut confirms Mansfield delivery branch 'not closed for good'
Popular takeaway chain Pizza Hut Delivery in Mansfield is not closed for good despite fears sparked by a closure notice.
The pizza chain, which has two delivery spots in the town, has shut its Albert Street branch following a notice on its window, which read that it is “closed until further notice”.
Mystery surrounded the sudden closure, but a spokesman for the company confirmed that it is closed for “operational reasons” – and hopes to reopen in the coming weeks.
The spokesman said: “Our Pizza Hut Delivery branch on Albert Street in Mansfield is temporarily closed for operational reasons.
“We expect the Hut to re-open in the coming weeks. Customers can continue to enjoy their favourite pizzas at our restaurant, located less than a mile away on Nottingham Road in the mean-time.”
The notice read: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are closed until further notice.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.”
