Pizza chain Domino’s serves up 20 new jobs as Shirebrook outlet opens
Pizza company Domino’s has officially opened its new outlet on Victoria Street in Shirebrook – and created 20 new jobs to the area, including pizza chefs, in-store team members and delivery drivers.
The store held an exciting grand opening ceremony where local community members and customers were invited to meet the new team and of course and try some freshly-prepared pizza.
The store has also been giving out free personal pizza through its store Facebook page.
Danny Unwin, area manager at Domino’s said: “We’re excited to come to Shirebrook to deliver the nation’s favourite pizza.
"We’re also passionate about enhancing our new community with employment opportunities, where people can grow and develop their careers.
"Like so many other Domino’s store managers, I started my Domino’s career in store as a delivery driver.
"Over the past 14 years I have worked my way up through the business and now I oversee 12 stores as an area manager.
"Whether you’re looking for a few extra hours or a completely new career path, there are roles to suit everyone.”
“We’re really looking forward to settling in and building strong lasting relationships with the local community, helping to deliver a better future through food people love.”
More than 90 per cent of Domino’s store managers and area managers, like Danny, started out as a delivery driver or a pizza maker.
