“Primarily I sell DVDs and Blu-Rays. I have built them up over the years. I started clearing upstairs and thought – "I will never sell them. I have loads of them.””

The DVDs included vintage TV series like “Hi-De-Hi” and “Keeping Up Appearances” as well as classic war films and Westerns.

“I have been all over,” said Martin, 50. “I literally ring the door bell, drop them at the door and then leave.

“We have had lots of positive feedback thanking us and we are only too happy to help.

“I think it's important that we pull together - especially with things the way they are.

People are stuck in their rooms and a film night brighten things up. I know it's not a lot but it helps.”

Martin's shop has been open for three years on Low Street, after he spent three years in the Idlewells Shopping Centre and three years before that at the indoor market in Chesterfield.
