Investment deal worth millions to help booming Mansfield firm grow

Total Integrated Solutions (TIS), which has its headquarters at the Oakham Business Park on Hamilton Way creates, installs and manages safety and security systems, including to prevent fire, across a range of sectors.

It employs more than 140 staff at five sites and, over the last nine years, owner James Twigg has expanded the technical capability of the business, which has grown revenue and profitability.

Now TIS has completed a significant investment deal with private-equity expert Key Capital Partners (KCP), which has bases in London and Leeds.

KCP’s financial support will help to drive the Mansfield firm even further forward. As part of the deal, it has acquired a minority stake in the TIS business.

James Hall will join the highly experienced executive team at TIS, alongside Matt Tice, who helped to negotiate the investment, while Ted Goold will become non--executive chairman.

TIS has created a huge impression in recent years, installing fire and security systems for customers ranging from councils, shops, schools and universities to the Royal Navy, RAF, retirement and care homes and manufacturing firms.
