Government provides Nottinghamshire with £77m for roads maintenance

The government has set aside £77,883,000 in funding to help maintain roads in Nottinghamshire, including fixing potholes over the next six years.

The government will be providing local authorities in England, and not including London, with just under £6 billion in total for local highways maintenance.

Of this funding, £4.7 billion will be allocated according to need, with £580 million to incentivise good asset management and efficiencies, and £575 million reserved to fund large one-off maintenance and renewal projects.

In Derbyshire £99,076,000 was set aside.
