These Mansfield restaurants are offering Valentine's Day meal deals and takeaways

Just because we can’t visit our favourite establishment in person this year doesn’t mean we have to forego the luxury of enjoying restaurant-quality food with our special someone.

There are plenty of restaurants across Mansfield that will be working hard over Valentine’s weekend (February 13 and 14) to cook up a storm for those wanting to mark the romantic occasion.

So why not light some candles, crack open a bottle of wine and leave it up to your favourite Mansfield restaurant to sort out the food this Valentine’s?

This will also help to support some of the town’s businesses who have had an extremely difficult year.

Here is just a taste of the Mansfield restaurants that will be serving up meals, for either collection or delivery, over Valentine’s weekend.

The Devonshire which describes itself as “bringing restaurant quality food at gastro-pub prices” is offering a special Valentine’s Day menu which will be available to order between 5.30pm and 8pm on Valentine’s Day – Sunday, February 14.

Those wishing to order the Valentine’s Day meal from The Derbyshire, which is based on Rectory Road, Shirebrook, are advised that “all orders must be paid via telephone AND pre-ordered by Friday 12th February” in order to “ensure contactless collection and to remain COVID-secure.”

The Red Bar and Grill on Bancroft Lane, Mansfield has also launched a Valentine’s menu which includes one main course each and an assiette of desserts to share and costs £39.90 per couple.

And for those who fancy marking the occasion with a sweet treat instead of a full meal, why not try the Little Dessert Shop at the Forest Retail Park in Sutton-in-Ashfield?
