B&Q has put out an urgent recall on a fan heater after identifying a potential risk of electric shock and fire to customers when using the product.

The retailer said that the GoodHome Colenso 2000W Freestanding Fan Heater may overheat causing damage to the case along with risk of electric shock or fire.

A spokesperson for the store said: “If you have bought this model since September 2020, please immediately stop using it and return to store when possible for a full refund.”
