Upcoming sessions and activities at Kirkby and Selston libraries

Kirkby and Selston Libraries are hosting a range of activities and sessions over the coming month.

Kirkby Work Club welcomes The Nottinghamshire Support in Work Service to Kirkby Library on Friday 18th July, 10am-12 noon.

The service supports people who are finding their health is getting in the way of them finding a job.

A free craft and chatter session will be held on 1st and 15th August, from 10-12pm. Bring your project, have a chat, meet new friends and enjoy a cup of tea.

On Monday 4th August, 11th August and 18th August the Library hosts a free summer reading challenge and craft activities for children from 10.30am -11.30am.

At Selston library on Chapel Road, a knit and natter group meets on Wednesday 6th and 20th August from 1-3pm. All abilities welcome and there will be free refreshments. Contact 01773 810093 or [email protected].

On Wednesday 6th August, the Crime Café reading group meets from 1-2pm. Join the crime reading group to talk about crime books/authors while enjoying refreshments. First Wednesday of the month.
