Hailing from Italy, The Watch are back with a brand new show, the Two Sides Live tour.

The gig features two shows in one, with a first set of Peter Gabriel solo stuff from Plays Live album and a second set showcasing Genesis - the Duke suite and highlights from 1976.

The band’s unique approach, together with a vocalist considered as the most Gabriel-esque ever, will also give you the opportunity to hear the magnificent songs of the first Collins era in a totally unexpected way, as it might have been had Gabriel carried on with the band.

Then, on Saturday, March 21, the visitors will be The Ian Siegal Band.

A blues icon who is rated as one of the best blues performers in the UK, he is on a tour with his band to promote his brand new live album One Night In Amsterdam, which was released on March 9.

If you know the name, but not the game, it’s high time you made his acquaintance. He’s the British Blues Hall of Famer, seven-times British Blues Awards winner, two-times European Blues Awards winner, USA Blues Music Awards nominee and feted by everyone from Mojo to Classic Rock.

He is also the only non-American to make an appearance in the much-acclaimed film Take Me To The River, which tracks the influence of the Memphis music scene.

But don’t expect him to dine out on his press cuttings or sit polishing his trophies. For Siegal, it’s all about the next show, the next song and the next great record.

In 2014 he assembled a new band – his best ever, says Ian - and in March he is touring in support of a live album recorded with this group of young musicians.

While he is best known as a bluesman, that is just one shade in the palette of an artiste who slips between continents, eras and expectations.

His love of nascent rock ‘n’ rollers like Little Richard and Elvis, blues titans such as Muddy Waters and Howlin’ Wolf, and the experimentalism of Tom Waits, fuels a powerful voice and magnetic stage presence.

Finally, Hat Fitz and Cara will be in action at The Flowerpot on Thursday, March 26.

The blues duo - now married - are on tour from Australia and are described as probably the best country blues/roots act seen for many years.

The combination has been described as a match made in heaven and after witnessing a live performance and listening to their music it’s impossible to dispute that description. The wildness of Hat Fitz’s performance is still there, but is now tempered by the bewitching Cara.

Doors open at 8pm for all of the gigs and admission is £12 for The Watch, £15 for the Ian Siegal Band, and £12 for Hat Fitz and Cara. For advance tickets and more details, go to www.rawpromo.co.uk
