Tickets for outdoor theatre
Theatre lovers will be able to see one of Jane Austen’s best-loved novels performed in the grounds of a historic country house this summer.
Outdoor theatre company Chapterhouse will be bringing a new version of Austen’s 1811 novel Sense and Sensibility to Kelham Hall, just outside Newark, on 31st August as part of UK-wide tour.

The play, which has been adapted by Laura Turner, tells the story of the Dashwood sisters as they go on a journey to see if they can find the perfect balance between sense and sensibility.
As well as watching the play, visitors will also be able to take along a picnic and enjoy the beautiful gardens.
The show starts at 6pm (doors open at 5pm) and tickets are priced at £14 for adults and £10 for children. A family ticket (two adults and two children) is also available priced at £42. Parties of 10 or more can receive a 10 per cent discount.
