Top tunes galore in this hit musical
Nottingham Operatic Society will be performing the hit Broadway musical Hairspray at the city’s Theatre Royal from October 27-31.
The show has music by Marc Shaiman, lyrics by Scott Wittman and Shaiman, with a book by Mark O’Donnell and Thomas Meehan.
From the 1960s style dance music to the soulful rhythm and blues, Hairspray is sure to get audience members dancing in the aisles. Hairspray, winner of eight Tony Awards, is a family-friendly musical full of laughter, romance, and wonderful tuneful songs.
