Raunch and laughs in 51 Shades story
Titled 51 Shades of Maggie, it comes to Mansfield’s Palace Theatre on 4th April.
The raucous and raunchy story follows the adventures of a bored unemployed council estate girl whose excitement in life is limited to shoplifting excursions in B&Q.

During the theatre show, the actress playing Maggie is alone on stage alone for two hours, playing several characters and describing Maggie’s sex life in graphic detail.
“It does demand,” said Dannielle of the role. “I’ve seen the show in Glasgow with Leah MacRae and I thought it incredibly hard work. But at the same time it’s fabulous. Leah was getting standing ovations at the end, and it’s an amazing opportunity”.
“And I know every actor wants the excitement of being on stage alone and showing what they can do. It’s always been my dream to do a multi-layered, one-woman show.”

“Maggie can be crude, but she’s also quite naive which makes her lovable,” she said.
“What you have to remember is that audiences just want a good night out. When I read the script I just thought it hilarious.”
