Music galore at Indietracks this weekend

The eagerly-awaited Indietracks Festival 2015 is to take place this weekend.

As ever, the venue will be the Midland Railway at Butterley near Ripley, with music lovers from far and wide coming along to enjoy a packed, family-friendly weekend of entertainment.

The event runs from Friday, July 24 to Sunday, July 26, and features bands galore, plus steam train rides, discos, fine food, real ale, owls and all of the usual Midland Railway museums and attractions. There will also be a selection of top DJs, such as Grubs, Laura K (from Tigercats), Don’t Falter DJs, Spinning Yarns DJs and Some Like It Pop.

The fun and games start on Friday from 5pm, with sets that evening from Cinerama, The School and Fever Dream.

On Saturday, there will be 25 artists from midday onwards, including The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, The Wave Pictures, Colleen Green, Tigercats, Steven James Adams, Evans The Death and lots more.

On Sunday, there will be another 25 acts from midday, including The Go! Team, Martha, Euros Childs, Laetitia Sadier, The Tuts, The Darling Buds, The Luxembourg Signal, Tuff Love, Pete Astor, Colour Me Wednesday and lots more.
