A spokesman for the popular annual festival, which attracts music lovers from all the country, said: “Next year will be our tenth festival - we’ve been running every year since 2007 - so we really hope you’ll be able to join us for this special occasion!

“Early bird tickets will be available nearer the time, and we’ll be inviting bands to send us applications later in the autumn.

“If you’d like to play at Indietracks, please start preparing your latest recordings and biographies, but please wait until applications open before emailing us – thank you!

“We’ll also be looking for volunteers (stewards and stage assistants) and workshop organisers, so please keep an eye on our website early next year.

“Our recent compilation albums (2012 to 2015) are all available on our Indietracks Bandcamp page. There’s dozens of fantastic songs by artists who played at the last few festivals, and the compilations are all only £3 each. All proceeds go to the Midland Railway charity, so please grab a bargain and help out a wonderful charity!

“So far the 2015 compilation has raised over £3000 for the railway charity, which is brilliant. Thanks so much for your support and generosity.”
