Funhouse Comedy Club boasts a bumper line-up of stand-ups
Headlining is the jaunty and engaging Danny Ward, winner of Amused Moose Laughter Award People’s Choice at last year’s Edinburgh Festival. Entertaining the crowds with his observations and amusingly sharp comments, his laid-back style and extraordinary structure of words are a breath of fresh air.
Supporting is Shazia Mirza, an international award-winning comedian and columnist for the Guardian Weekend magazine who has also guested on Have I Got News For You? From Birmingham, she was previously a science teacher with one of her pupils being the rapper Dizzee Rascal.
