A Wilde night out as Suchet play is shown in cinemas

Oscar Wilde’s much-loved classic play, The Importance Of Being Earnest, will be broadcast live to 350 cinemas across the UK and Ireland from London’s Vaudeville Theatre tonight (Thursday) with additional backstage footage and cast interviews exclusive to the cinema event.

The production stars one of Britain’s best-known stage, screen and television actors, David Suchet (familiar as the detective Hercule Poirot), who plays the role of Lady Bracknell.

It can be seen from 7.15pm at Derby Quad, Showcase Cinema De Lux and Odeon, plus Nottingham’s Showcase and Savoy cinemas, and Mansfield Odeon.
