Acclaimed drama Twelve Angry Men coming to Nottingham Playhouse next year
The acclaimed West End production of the classic courtroom thriller Twelve Angry Men comes to Nottingham Playhouse next February on a UK tour.
Hailed as ‘the classiest, most intelligent drama playing in the West End,’ the stage adaptation of the 1957 three-time Academy Award nominated film, comes to Nottingham Playhouse as part of a national tour.

A jury has murder on their minds and a life in their hands as they decide the fate of a young delinquent accused of killing his father.
But what appears to be an open and shut case, soon becomes a huge dilemma, as prejudices and preconceived ideas about the accused, the trial, and each other turn the tables every which way, until the nail-biting climax.
The cast is led by Gray O’Brien (Tony Gordon in Coronation Street; A Game Called Malice) Bill Ward (Charlie Stubbs in Coronation Street and James Barton in Emmerdale), Ricky Norwood (Fat Boy in Eastenders), Tristan Gemmill (Dr Adam Trueman in Casualty) and Ben Nealon (Captain Jeremy Forsythe in Soldier Soldier).
Completing the line-up are Paul Beech, Graham Elwell, Jeffrey Harmer, Mark Heenehan, Kenneth Jay, Paul Lavers, Owen Oldroyd and Micquel Pereira.
Adam Penford, artistic director at the Playhouse, said: “Twelve Angry Men is one of the great courtroom dramas – a masterclass in storytelling that asks questions about justice, prejudice and courage.
"We look forward to welcoming this acclaimed production and great cast.”
Twelve Angry Men comes to Nottingham from February 23-27.
