Ahead of their visit, Jimmy Osmond, the youngest member of the singing siblings, told music fans what to expect....

“This Christmas show is not just about us,” he said. “it’s based on what people want to hear at that time of the year. We have Christmas hits with Andy (Williams) - The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year, Here it is Merry Christmas by Slade and Lonely This Christmas.”

No Osmonds show would be complete without their chart-topper Crazy Horses or cover of Love Me For A Reason, the latter giving Boyzone their first top-ten hit 20 years ago.

Fans of The Osmonds will see just half of the original line-up performing - Jimmy, Merrill and Jay.

Donny, who was The Osmonds’ pin-up back in their heyday, is still busy wowing crowds in Las Vegas while health issues have forced the other two out of the spotlight. Jimmy, 52, said: “Wayne has battled with cancer but he’s OK now. Alan has multiple sclerosis and can’t perform but they are both active behind scenes and enjoying their lives.”

Nearly half a century ago and at just five years old, Jimmy was the first of the band of brothers to be awarded a gold record for the song My Little Darling.
