Four teenagers from Nottinghamshire debated the issues that matter to them at a forum in the Houses of Parliament.

Aimee Johnson, 14, of Hucknall, Kirsty Withell, 15, of Langold, Sami Ayoub, 14, of Beeston and Florence Orchard, 14, of Arnold voiced their views in the debate hosted by the United Kingdom Youth Parliament.

The four were representing Nottinghamshire Youth Parliament and joined 250 young people from across the country at the climax of the annual Make Your Mark campaign.

Record numbers of teenagers took part in the campaign earlier this year, with 12,340 making their views heard on a range of topics. Issues arising from the campaign included mental health matters and transport.
