Summer date for Splendour festival

The headline acts and other artists who will perform will be announced in the next few weeks.

The family event, which has featured Jake Bugg, Dizzee Rascal and Blondie, will also have a comedy stage, fun fair and market stalls.

Nottingham City Council’s leisure and culture portfolio holder, Coun David Trimble, said: “It’s great news that our popular family festival Splendour has been confirmed and it will no doubt be bigger and better than ever before.”
