Sponsored family fun run for Hettys to be held in Huthwaite

A sponsored family fun run/walk is being held at Huthwaite to raise funds for a group which supports more than 500 families in crisis in the North Nottinghamshire area.

The 1.5 mile Hettys Sponsored Family Fun Run/walk will be held on Sunday 6th July 2014, starting and ending in Brierley Forest Park, Huthwaite.

The money raised will go towards supporting Hetty’s future sustainability to continue to offer vital services for vulnerable families.

Registration is at 10am at the Hetty’s Tent.

For participants who want to join the run to raise money for their own group, a £3 registration fee applies per runner.

Hettys provides a free confidential telephone support line 08000 850941 which is open seven days a week, all year, between 9am-7pm.

The phone is answered by a small team of trained workers or volunteers who have personal experience of family issues around drug/alcohol misuse and offer a non-judgmental listening ear, discuss support options and give information on local services.
